  • Oversaw and advised general manager, executive chef, and bar manager positions.

    Directed staff hiring and promotion.

    Lead weekly leadership and staff meetings.

    Developed and maintained training materials for front of house staff.

  • Developed brand identity and value propositions for the business, and developed + executed strategies to grow sales while maintaining strong brand integrity across all products, services, marketing initiatives, and communications.

    Co-wrote cocktail recipes, developed garnish and named cocktails, as well as approved dinner menus items.

    Curated playlists and developed staff wardrobe guidelines.

    Designed and commissioned merchandise.

    Lead graphic design and interior decor re-branding.

  • Wrote copy for all marketing assets.

    Selected photographers, determined shot lists, and provided food styling + art direction for cocktail and food photo shoots.

    Liaised with publicists for traditional media outreach and promotion.

    Expanded marketing strategy to include non-social media campaigns (newsletters, virtual events for national consumers, customer loyalty incentives, in-service marketing opportunities, development of offline marketing channels).

    Created all social media content, managed content calendar, and nurtured relationships with a community of 36k+ followers.

    Identified trends, assessed sales data and updated strategies accordingly.

    Constantly updated competitor and customer analysis.

  • Determined menu creation timelines and lead creation of seasonal cocktail menus.

    Co-wrote cocktail recipes and named cocktails.

    Designed, curated, and sourced all service pieces, including glassware, flatware, plateware, coasters, swizzles, and garnish.

    Developed and sourced trendsetting garnish pieces — from banana dolphins to custom swizzles.

    Directed menu graphic design and production.

    Conceptualized and created cocktail menus for events, partnerships, programs, and specials, and directed custom menu design and production.

    Developed private party menus and bottled cocktail catering menus.

    Determined cocktail presentation standards and glassware + garnish service guides.

  • Developed, produced, and marketed Lost Lake branded merchandise.

    Developed, produced, and promoted bottled cocktail and cocktail subscription services.

    Using Shopify, created, updated, and maintained online webstore.

    Maintained visual merchandising in display cabinets.

  • JINGLE BELL SQUARE

    Developed concept and branding for Lost Lake’s lucrative annual holiday pop-up, Jingle Bell Square, which drove ~30% of annual revenue between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve.

    Conceptualized, sourced, and installed immersive holiday decor.

    Lead development of collaborative cocktail menu.

    Created and sourced holiday glassware and garnish.

    Curated holiday music playlists and staff holiday wardrobe guidelines.

    Lead pandemic pivots for the event in 2020 and 2021.

    Co-founded this monthly charitable event, ultimately raising over $50k for grassroots Chicago organizations.
